Guest Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 3 months ago I visited the abandoned Spanish village of Retamalejo. You may remember that it was the day that I ended up with heatstroke because the heat came down really early......it actually reached 43C.In fact my hands were shaking so much I couldn't even hold the camera steady......and I was only able to see a fraction of what was there. Because it's actually the biggest abandoned village that I've visited!Well now the heat isn't a problem, I've got a much better camera, and a bike that's far better suited to this sort of stuff aka The Stealth Beemer!Yes, I'm still old and [email protected] you can't have everything can you? So this is Retamalejo Remastered......and I really went through the place in some depth today. There's a vid walkthrough, along with lots of pics of shit that's falling down....and lots of pics of shit that's already fallen down.Just a warning to Casuals......don't attempt shit like this yourself because it could well lead to Death and Dismemberment! And of course I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this is Dark Motorcycling! Guest Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 You should move in X no covid there, great pics bike looks to be handling it well. Yes......it does everything so easily. Particularly if the surface gets bad, or you need to manoeuvre it about at low speed. For my age (with bad knees), and the type of riding that I do in these sorts of environments, I'll never get a better fit than this thing. In fact I've done 1000kms in 3 weeks on it......and I'm only out on weekends.I've been riding it like you would a bit on the side! That’s great glad you are pleased with it and it handles your rough terrain rides so much better than the storm. Quote
Guest Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 Lovely, and the bike looks great Yeh.....I really like this thing! It goes round corners like it's on rails.....no effort at all.It actually reminds me of my old XT600's......but considerably more sophisticated and comfortable. Quote
skyrider Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 yep and if things get considerably better next year i will strongly be considering acquiring one but the F model Quote
