Hi all,

ive recently done my CBT as I have a 125cc AJS Modena. I’d like to pass the A1 test and have my L plates off and carry pillion. My question is, can I do my A1 on my scooter which is twist and go. I understand that with an A1 I am restricted, but I don’t want to ride a geared bike, just my scooter. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Yes you can but will be limited to automatics only and wont be allowed to ride a geared bike. Bit like what happens with a car test
