Fas Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Hi all, Looking for the fastest way to get back in to biking. I'm middle aged with a full UK car driving licence, and driving for over 30 years. I don't want to start on a 125cc bike, because I want to do touring, so I'm looking to get a much bigger bike, which can comfortably handle that. Thanks. Quote
billy sugger Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Hi Fas, CBT, followed by DAS on a 600cc or higher is quickest. Quote
Guest Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Not forgetting theory test. You can do the practical elements in a week at some schools Quote
Pbassred Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 However: There is a long wait for a tuition and testing in many areas. Not everyone gets through an intensive DAS course first time. Mod 1 is a killer. Sometimes the fastest way is to take your time. Riding a 125 will teach you a lot while riding solo - including the Mod1 manuver set. 125s are faster than you think. Quote
