Dear forum members,

Apologies if this is a duplicate post. I was not able to find any answer, so asking it here.

My Scooter/Moped was stolen a week ago - it was insured Third Party only. It was reported to the Police. Since then, I have been unable to reach DVLA to report it as stolen and to claim tax back. There is no real help online for this scenario, or at least I have not been able to find it.

I would be grateful if someone can share their experience, in a similar situation. It would be good to know if I can do this all online.

Kind regards

If you have a tweeter account try contacting them there.

Was the only way I found when I tried to register a vehicle with them a couple years ago.

Also a recorded delivery letter would make it official.

If the issue is road tax you can do it online.
