sailornahid Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 (edited) Just wondered whether bikers/people living in rural areas of UK want the flexibility of wearing helmet for certain low speed roads. I am from London and obviously road are usually busy here and such flexibility will not happen I guess. My reasoning is from Asian or African countries where people in rural areas do not wear anything as speed is always less than 30mph. I bought my Honda CBR125R from Leeds recently from a prison guard. I was surprised to see that he was using bike without front L plate (Yes, he was a learner at that time). When I asked, he said things are different in the north (I loved that)! Nope things not different he's a knob, unless of course he had passed his test. Quote

But I think he was trying to say since it was a small town, enforcement are little less severe. I personally think it will be nice to have little flexibility. Quote
Bender Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 The wife and I watched a girl maybe 18 nocked of scooter and bang head on curb in Bali speed 2mph max, nocked off balance by car reversing, no helmet, dead. 1 Quote
