queen bodecia Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Hmm. Would love to go to Brands again as I was gutted to miss it last year but can't really work out the logistics of it. I have stayed at my sister's in Essex before but she no longer has room for me or my bike. Then two years ago I rode there and back on the day (nearly 400 chuffing miles!), I ain't doing that again!!Problem is, I don't camp and hotels down south are silly money...So probably no unless I get some divine inspiration. Admittedly the queues to get in and out and on the M25 are a bit offputting. Took over 5 hours from putting helmet on to get home last time, 3 hours of which were spent queuing. Far worse than Donington...However, 'tis a mighty fine circuit to watch from once you venture that far south (passports recommended)... Quote
