Same here Vicki, great idea and I`d want to do this myself, but Hull a long way North for a day. Good luck with it.

Dont forget camping is available the night before.... distance aint an excuse really..... got 2 members coming down from Glasgow

Too true, distance should not be a factor but I`m doing boat rescue on the saturday at Rutland water. Apparently as a member you have to.....it reduces the price you pay for membership. :?

If numbers stay below 30 you're ok to commit up to the day before... however you take the risk of it getting booked up and no place being available.

Hi, we have put this event together especially for the forum, and is going to be run by local people and we can offer it free.

The actual FBoS Training is run by the North West Ambulance Service

I believe they are willing to go to other venues if demand is great enough, not sure about Scotland though... may be worth asking 8-)
