R6,GSXR OR CBR

Howdy all, I’m about to sell my current bike (2009 CB600F) and I’m looking to get something abit sportier.

My interest has been peaked by some of the older superbikes 2003-2005 R6, GSX-R 600 and CBR600RR. I think they’re all super smart and around that year I can get some in my budget but I’d like to get the point of view from people who have owned these bikes.

Thanks in advance

Curtis

It depends on what sort of riding you like to do.

The R6 is the most extreme. The Honda is a great bike and generally lasts better than the suzuki. Which turns to get a different sort of rider owning them.

At nearly twenty years old though I would be looking more to buy on condition and maintenance, servicing than a particular model.

You need to sit on them, no matter what others think it has to be right for you.

Loads of good reviews on mcn, just Google said bike +mcn+review

I’ve had a sit on the R6 and Gsxr and they both feel as comfortable as I could hope and they’re both really smart to look at, I’m just on the fence with what to pick now.

I’ve been and had a look at a Gsxr and R6, both maintained properly, fully stamped books etc, just curious if there’s any massive flaws with the models.
