fifthwheel Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Hi all. I have a small tank bag that fits to a magnetic base with a quarter turn lock. I want to glue the bag to the base permanently for better security, I'm not concerned about having to remove the base as well as the bag if its glued on but as it is now its so loose I think it would fly of if I use it. I cant think of the name of the material but its the black stuff most cheap tank bags are made of. Any suggestions for the right glue to use. I have the usual pu tubes of sikaflex and stuff from Toolstation would that do? Thanks John. Quote
Bender Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Sikaflex usually sticks most stuff, needs a bit of depth for strength, as long as it takes to both surfaces should be fine. I've had mixed results with some of the other wonder adhesives, I've got some plastic and webbing that wouldn't stick with Evo stick impact,ct 1, or super glue, had an old tube of Evo stick dogs bollocks yes it's a cheesy name stuck no problem. 1 Quote
