Just changed levers, while undoing clutch lever something snapped..

Exactly as the title, something snapped.. I have no clue what. I took out the old lever and it didn't come out easily and something snapped when I got it out...

 

Also now I've done it, the clutch lever doesn't fully move out, it feels very spongy.... (Seems that might be having the bolt too tight)

I think I found it, I'm pretty sure it's the clutch switch

Yep.

 Most likely plastic or if your lucky an alloy part. It will be but generally quite small, just stick it back in kike the previous owner?
