Hello.  I am a UK citizen living in OZ trying to get insurance for my non-resident lady motorbike rider on a Triumph 800 Tiger XCA.. We are planning to spend 3 month riding in Scandinavia.  Does anyone have any suggestions on a group or individual we can approach for 3rd party motorbike fire & theft  insurance?    So far we have drawn a blank with no one wanting to take the risk.  Last year we rode around the UK, the  Balkans and many countries in Europe (around 13,000miles)  and gained insurance via BikeSure.    It seems many companies are no longer taking the risk to insure non-UK resident motorbike riders.  We have ridden in many countries around the world and never encountered this issue.  It appears that Motorbike riders are being unfairly treated when looking for insurance cover.  I would appreciate anyones suggestions to assist us arrange insurance for two bikes.

cheers Michael

Insurance companies here don't like 3rd party fire and theft anymore. Try switching up to fully comp. Also if you are just doing it online maybe actually phone and  talk to the brokers direct can sometimes yield better results. Google does give you choices when asked for European cover. Good luck.
