  1. I'd be making sure it was fitted correctly on the inlet manifold first, then working on the air box second. You may have to manipulate the air box rubbers.
  2. In the 3rd pic. The carb is not pushed in all the way. You need to reseat it. It's twisted there.
  3. I blame the Wombles, it was them that started collecting the rubbish. There are loads of those do it up and sell it on shows though, from houses and cars to stuff from the tip. If folk are dumb enough to pay for it more fool them. Aside from there being only so many old bikes around I'd be more inclined to blame the internet, it's just so easy to get your bike advertised to a far wider audience now.
  4. Hi, mm have you tried rotating the rubber 180 degrees? Hard to imagine what you mean really, take a pic so we can get a better idea.
  5. Hi, always loads on ebay, you'll have to get your hand in your pocket..
  6. Ha haar.. you're just jealous cos he has more tin cans in his collection than you.. He's alright really I've got nothing against him, he's done more to promote motorcycling on the tv than anyone else in this country. Yes some bits are a bit cheesy but as my wife says, it is what it is.
  7. She looks like a mannequin with false hands, weird..
  8. Hi and welcome, never used Superbike Factory so can't comment on those but I'm sure someone must have. Seems like a good place to go and have a wander around if nothing else.
  9. Yeah strange one, as RWS says it could be time for a bit more investigation inside the pipe. Can you get the baffle out and see inside it with a torch maybe?
  10. You are a bit vague mate to be honest, the more info you give the more you get back. Owners manual any good to you? https://static.ktivs.net/manuals/99922-1750-01_EN-45351facf6ab778a1d9847ba1f27c92c/index.html#p=1 As a heads up this link works on my laptop (windows) but not on my android. Not smart enough to know why.
  11. Hi welcome. You are going to have to find a local bike shop or similar to help you with that. YouTube is good for looking at the basics, ideas of what is needed to be done etc. should be plenty on there for that bike l would have thought. Good luck
  12. something will be loose like an exhaust bracket were it bolts to the head or something similar. Get a screwdriver or anything really and start poking it about, you'll soon find the source of your rattle.
  13. It s already too late for him, most up and comers come through the lower classes, he'll be 30 soon.
  14. BBC News - Pembury: Drinking water contamination threat posed by motorbikes - BBC News https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cgrjd6180n5o When you look on Google earth the resovoir is walled off so I'm not sure what's going on there.
  15. Not me but welcome anyway.
  16. Hate Paypal l refuse to use them. As much as l don't like Amazon it's really easy to get your money back if stuff is wrong.
  17. Never had one so have no real idea, but I'm glad you asked that.
  18. Hi, nice bike!
  19. All you need now is a cover to keep the rain off.
  20. I like the sound of a straight 4, I know where you are coming from.
  21. Yeah you'd think they will be in there somewhere, just need to do a bit of searching, good luck
  22. Don't know if this is true but l always thought it was the granite in the tarmac. I noticed the tyre wear myself and had a good look at the surfaces, that's what I put it down to anyway. Happy enough with the grip.
  23. Hi, yep that's had a good battering. Just had a browse on ebay and the replacement parts aren't as expensive as you might think, sure you'll have to put a few hundred into it but the parts are out there. I take it the frame and forks are straight?
