wastedyears1981 Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Hi, Just wondering if anyone has used a helmet Bluetooth kit with he AVG K3 SV helmets that fit. I'm currently using a £30 one I got off Amazon but the speakers do not sit in the helmet recess properly. Every time I slap my helmet it, the speakers folder my ears over. Not a problem when I use a helmet liner on my noggin, but in the warmer weather it gets very hot with the liner. Quote
Simon Davey Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Hi @wastedyears1981 Not used one myself, but I'm sure Stortsbikeshop are selling a used (returned) one on their eBay shop. Quote
husoi Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 When I had my shark and got the intercom I had to cut the polystyrene to create a recess for the speakers. Not a very difficult job even if time consuming if you want to make sure it fits precisely. Quote
Simon Davey Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Apologies, I should have read the OP properly. Quote

They are too big for the speaker recess so sit on a spacer that is double sided gel taped. Was wanting something that has speakers that fit perfect into the speaker recess. Quote
husoi Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 Before the latest intercom I bought I adapted a pair of headphones to the helmet. Much better sound and the size is very similar to the ones you get on intercoms Quote
