dans316 Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Hi, I've just purchased a GSXR125 after completing my CBT as my commuter bike but I'm struggling to get it to start, I've followed everything in the manual but get no lights on the dash. It's had a new battery fitted before being delivered and this site won't let me upload the video of what I'm doing but put it on youtube here - I've tried to same holding down the clutch, with the bike of the kickstand and upright but nothing seems to make a difference. Tiggie Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 I'd check to make sure the battery has been fitted correctly and the terminals are connected securely. Would also check that the new battery is correct for the bike Quote
bud Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 I would check the main fuse also. It's usually that when the clocks stop working. 1 Quote
Mold Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVPwCbzBGJk I don't know if the video link above will help, the only other things I can think of have already been mentioned, 'battery and fuses, I would check the fuse first because you at least get a light so it seems like the battery and terminals are ok, it it was the battery the clocks should still show but it might not have had the power to start the bike but since the clocks are not coming on at all it appears to be something else. Did you buy it from a dealer or did you see it running before you bought it? Quote
