Hello,

I have a Sinnis Shuttle 125 year 22. It's been pretty decent and reliable but one of the caveats is I regularly drive on A roads on the seafront doing speeds of 50/60 MPH - these roads are very windy which can be uncomfortable, recently i have started to get neck strain after riding. Would anyone know of any windshield parts that would fit on the Sinnis Shuttle 125 year 22?

Thanks in advance

You dont need a big screen you would be surprised that even a small screen moves the air up and over your head. The trouble is finding a shop that has various styles and sizes in stock that you can compare before buying. Have a look on the Givi website they may even make something specific for your model.

Just be careful with getting a big a screen and it, rather appropriately given the type of roads you're riding on, acting like a sail. As mentioned above, a small ones can be suprisingly good, (says he riding an R1250RT with a fairing the size of a small home county and an ever larger screen!).

Never even occoured to me that they'd work in both directions 😂

Having to tack into a head wind and oncoming traffic will test your riding skills though.💨

Now this is a forum of folks ideas and opinions so I'll give you mine on small screens. They do not lift the air up and over your head they simply redirect it into your chest or wherever the height of the screen comes to. They may look good but that's about it. The bigger the screen the more protection from head on wind.

Thank you for all the replies. The mirrors on the bike are super chunky (see pic) so I may struggle to attach the universal windshield to the bike but I will give it a go as I think I can take the rubber bits off at the bottom of the mirror! The roads I drive on are on a cliff by the sea so are super windy, it may feel like I am sailing from the head winds but again I will see how it’s goes - hopefully I won’t need any sailing practice.IMG_2430.thumb.jpeg.2813493fe8e4b4e6c47efe5f4dd0a247.jpeg

I had the opposite problem on the Tiger Explorer: main beam but no dip.
My problem was one of the connectors hidden under the tank was gummed up and needed cleaning.

You are going to need a multimeter with this. You might be able to borrow one of you don't own one.

As the other filament is working, I guess the earth is probably good. You would need to trace the wire back at each joint till you find one with power.

A wiring diagram would be helpful. And often is in the handbook.
