Mold Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Hello fellow bikers, would anyone know where I can get my alarm and immobiliser fitted properly and do you know how much it would cost? I bought an 'NCS C2 Simple Motorcycle Alarm and Immobiliser with Remote Start'. I have fitted the basic wires so the alarm will sound if the motorcycle is disturbed but I haven't fitted the immobiliser and I don't want the 'remote start' connected. It's fitted to a Kawasaki J300 and I don't want to start splicing wires when I don't know what I'm doing. Thanks. Quote

RideWithStyles Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) Most stop the ignition, some the fuel. anyway the first thing I would have said is not to have bought it (looks really nasty), a different one or something else all together because these things will bite you in the arse at some point but you have and your here with it. The instructions should cover what you need to do! If not red flag. From what little info I can quickly find if you bought the correct one there shouldn’t be much ,if any splices as it piggy backs into the system that is already there. you could just take it to a auto electrician, car or bike specific, shouldn’t take them long maybe an hour or so… Edited January 10 by RideWithStyles Autocorrect Quote

RideWithStyles Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) Google say at least three are near the coast so plenty of choices, if your not sure about doing it yourself. all ill say is dont just jump in or screw about with it then expect a garage with open arms to undo the diy handy work. most garages would like to source and use their own parts, not just for the money but covers both parties interest of accountability.
