The RS50, what to say.

Six months ago I got on my first 50cc, the TS50XKR, it was fun, comfortable and somewhat fast for a 50. The one problem was it's reliability, after a full engine rebuild and still no luck I decided to look elsewhere for another bike. Then I found my RS50. It was a good deal about 700 quid and the throttle cable and an oil pipe needed replacing so nothing major. Can I just say after reading plenty of reviews and watching plenty of videos on the bike it has to be quite possibly the most uncomfortable 50 out there. I get it's ment to be a sport bike so comfortability isn't the 'priority' but it just not as fun to ride.

Dont get me wrong I still have a blast riding it and having a starter motor is nice but its just so uncomfortable, maybe it's because I'm not used to the riding position or maybe its just not for me but I seriously have no idea why anyone would have this as their like main bike. I can just about bear it.

My wrists kill from the weirdly angled handlebars and the seat is the smallest thinest bit of leather out there you may aswell just be sitting on a bit of plastic.

Jumping from my TS onto this just made me appreciate supermotos even more.

If anyone could let me know if this is the standard with sports bikes that would be appreciated but honestly as soon as I turn 17 I'm hopping straight back on a supermoto.

Well yes youve figured it out jumpin on sportsbike that’s generally the rider/bike triangle of fitment, Some are more accommodating than others. It was cheap.

to be honest I like the idea of SM and Hypers but I find them all too lofty, vagueness and softness in the suspension stroke of them disconcerting. but that’s just me an what I’m used to.

Depending on how tall, long biometrics are you, what can be adjusted or changed to the bike?.

The RS4 is a tiny bike which makes it more uncomfortable as it's so small.

Sports bikes can be pretty uncomfortable as a rule. But most 125 sports bikes are nowhere as extreme. The handle bars are usually above the top yoke for example. And the pegs not as high as a proper sports bike.

Handle bars are inline with the seat, seat angled up to push rider forward.
