Morning new here so I'll try not to drag up old questions.

I have a quad with an mt07 engine in but currently have no speed reading. It's an abs model so I assume the speed comes from that.

Could any one tell me the colours of the wire to the sensors pls as the loom has been cut about to suit the quad but not been done very well

Thanks for any input

Hi,

You should get an idea from this hopefully. The pics look shit on here but we're clear enough on the phone.

Why don't you just buy a second hand bicycle computer with GPS speedo on it? Not sure about the legalities of using that just on it's own on the public roads, but if that's not a concern it's going to be a lot easier than buggering about with the wiring.

Depends on the year model?

from what I can find out of a early model, the looks of it the FWS 42 is white and grey, then white and black to the abs module/abs 44.

Obviously you want to use it on the roads hence the Speedo.

bicycle one’s off only go up to a Certain speed then it’s too much off memory.

According to the DVSA website GPS speedometers are not permitted.
