Got some throwovers for the bike but I want to put something temporary down to protect the wonderful purpleness.

Do you use a temp film/tape that’s easy to remove and doesn’t require hair dryers or the like?

I got a full PPF kit for the RT its not cheap but its very good stuff and extremely tough

Its also hard to see when fitted they also sell them in separate parts if needed

cheers Stu, but that looks pricey. Kinda hoping to find a 20p workaround :D

I do know that I bought some quite cheaply on the bay a couple of years back to protect the cill on my cars boot area.

Try searching for "Helicopter tape" it`s like a clear heavy duty cling film with an adhesive backing.

Cheers

When the missus and I went touring, we used to use book binding film to temporarily protect the vfr paintwork from throwover rubbing.

Cheap to buy and easy to remove with boiling water.

Breaking my 20p budget, I've stumbled across the Oxford Blanket. I've actually got something very like it as a mouse mat.

It'd be perfect - but I'm not paying Oxford prices. More Googling for non slip mats, I reckon. Get a cheap big sheet, cut it to shape, job will be a good'un.
