Upcoming trips/days out planned

Good day to you all!

I was wondering if anyone is taking a trip or short break on their bike end May/early June and would put up with a tag along .

 

It turns out my wife and daughter are off to Benners for the week on the booze and my dog is on holiday too that week. (They thought I'd be at sea but I'll be home) 

 

Or, does anybody know of any shows/events that may be on at that time please?

Working away with time free to yourself, best I can suggest is get out and go by yourself.

 

Camping or B&B or small hotel. Forget travel lodges, or holiday inns soulless. Be selective about air B&Bs.

 

Go play on West coast of Wales? The Rhonda valleys?  Or the lake District? Cornwall? Peak District?

 

Book yourself in for a couple of nights, with a  good pub or social point near by.

 

Relying on others when you work shifts or away is always challenging. 

 

If you don't mind camping Doms bike stop?  The Barge inn Wiltshire?

 

I spent the better part of 3 months sailing on my own.  Rarely finding a bar I didn't end up chatting in, once away from the cities.

There's always Challenge 2025 

It's a great way to get out on the bike, with something to actually do.

Brilliant! Thanks I've just discovered it and looks like a blast. 

I'll be registering for sure. The first map link I clicked put me somewhere in the South Atlantic.

The second worked and I can spend the next few evenings planning an area (or two) to visit. Thanks again.
