Gp Tyre rule(update)

Interesting to hear them say today that they dont think there will be a 1 tyre rule(good)

Even more interesting of them to say that they believe all 5 ducatis on michellins next year as Livio suppo says they cant beat Rossi on the same tyres

Oh dear god, the Dukes will do nothing on Michelins!!

would be michelins only no 1 team so who all there efforts going to be at ?

When was it that michelins were dominant, 2 years ago is all so dont think bridgestones going to stay at the top much longer

Announced this morning, there will be a 1 tyre rule, manufacturer to be confirmed in 2 weeks when all bids have been recieved

Could make things very interesting or very boring.... Hopefully the tyre manufacturers will keep things neutral and not favour one team and the bike manufacturers will work the bikes to the tyres well.... I suppose only time will tell.

I would say that if for example its Bridgestone, it will help Rossi and Ducati and any other current Bridgestone runners but look at the BSB and WSB - one tyre rule has made the racing even better! (if u remove shakey )

Dont think it will make a blind bit of difference to the racing..just takes one more factor away..and kills development.

The best riders have bridgestones now..surely it would be better to have a different tyre manufacturer which at least could help maybe other teams compete on certain tracks and push development after all tyre developement we all benefit from.

Also the thing that killed the racing was the drop to 800's!

I agree with what you said about the tyres there.

However, although last year was boring as get out for racing, this year has been awesome! The 990's were defo better and closer but I would say next year Rossi, Casey, Dani and Jorge will all be there and even the odd glimpse of Dovi and Nicky

Will be a great season, it takes time for it all to come together. The 05 and 06 seasons where brilliant racing in MotoGP and then they switched, like fools! SO I would say that next year for a couple of years the racing will be superb until they do something silly like bring it down to 600

Cant bring it down to 600 with the 250's been changed to 600's

And I think the racing been better down to rossi being on stoners case more than anything.

But time will tell!

It would seem all will be on Bridgestones next for at least the next 3 years (big surprise) as michellin have decided not to even table a bid!
