Bill_on_a_bike Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Got my uncles old jacket, and it came with an electric heated thermal lining. My uncles lost the connector for it though, and with the winter months approaching it does seem a nice prospect. Had a good google and can't find one, anyone got any ideas? Quote
jabcrosshook Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Never seen a heated jacket before, hows it work with the rain? Quote
Korben Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Got any more details about what particular jacket it is by Spada. Might help find what you need....Only downside is you might be looking at replacing the whole electrical side of things rather than just getting the connectors. Quote
Bill_on_a_bike Posted October 1, 2008 Author Posted October 1, 2008 All i can see on the jacket are "Cordura" and "Advanced heating". Neither of which have caught any joy on google And i'm not sure Jabcross, it's a lining on the inside of the jacket, it would be hard to get it significantly wet.Btw is jabcross your name? I don't mean to seem uncultured, just assumed it was an internet alias from whatever. Quote

Susieque Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Dodgy things, electric blankets! My incontinent Grandad used to have one! How he didn't blow himself to kingdom come I'll never know! Sorry Bill!!!!! Quote
Guest Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 IS the connector to the jacket still there if so post a picture,Maplins do all sorts of plug connectors,I would assume the cable will be a 2 core ,if thats the case then you could fit a complete new plug and socket http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?cri ... &source=15 Quote
Bill_on_a_bike Posted October 1, 2008 Author Posted October 1, 2008 It's a 4 pin male Molex connector on the jacket. Looked on maplin can't find a female one. Not afraid of chopping wires and putting crock clips on or w/e but wither the female connector, not much point. Quote
