Bill_on_a_bike Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 I've used a £5 from the market for 6 months now. Used to carry shoes in every day which trashed the last one but i leave them in a locker now. Get to school and swap shoes for jacket, trousers and boots, then put my shoes on. Quote
collier32 Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Try Kreiga they do loads of rucksacks designed for bike riders and they come with a 10 year warranty ive just ordered a tail pack from them Quote

blakeatron Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Just spent nearly £100 on a kriega backpack and optional 'kube' accesory Very nearly bought the matching tailpack, but I will wait and see how good the other bits are first. The thing about the kriega bits is that you can strap them all together to form one big bag if needed.I have been using an old Animal walking rucksack with success for quite a while now though! Guest Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Well it came today and wow!Its so comfy and easy to put on, everything about is screams quality (and so it should at that price!) from the double stitched seams to internal strappy thing. If you have the money get one! i bought a kriega 35 backpack a month or so back. i gave it an accidental waterproof test as i was on a course up in cumbria, and the ride up there was torrential to say the least (as was the drive back). not one drop of water got through to the contents. i also have a hein gericke pro-sports tailpack which let in a tiny amount of moisture, without using the waterproof cover so i was impressed with that too.one thing i've noticed about the R-35 is that it can interfere with the head movement until u get used to it, or maybe i've not quite got it set right yet. blakeatron Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 I got the R25 - doesn't come anywhere near my lid!Got mine well and truely wet on the dog walk last night (use my rucksack to walk to and from work as well!) and nothing got wet Quote
