Not long got back, shopping list is:

New leather waistcoat

Bump!!

Only a few days away for most people now!!!!

My list has changed....

Thermal clothing

Gortex Gloves (Hopefully the Alpinestar 365)

Heated Grips

Not far off...

Got my thermal clothing... Knox trousers and top. Very comfy.

Got my Gortex Alpinstarts, although not the 365's

Didn't get heated grips....

Did get one of those clever electronic Dog Tag things.... I have set them up and they are a clever piece of kit!!

Couple of decent deals yeah..... I have to say I did not find it as good as last year, but still enjoyed it.

Got to try on a Roof V5 Helmet, but my noggin ain't the right shape at all... Annoying.

Gonna post some pics up I took in a bit.....

Only thing I was cheesed off about was that not many stalls seemed to be competing with prices.... The same thing on 3 or 4 stalls was the same price. Rubbish really.

I spent too much today to do it without the authority giving me the nod!

Cossie & Akey you wont regret it, once your membership is processed you'll get a very exclusive welcome pack with all the info.

The National 2009 Rally is 10th - 12th July and is a real hoot, have a look at the photos once you get on the website, St Trinians theme  You'll be surprised where you meet other RBLR members, I haven't yet found a bike club/forum that doesn't have at least 1. The fund raising for the Poppy appeal is all channeled into having fun at lots of events all over the country, bike shows, rallies and anything else where bikers hang out. And its all done with that well known (but not always understood) military humour 8-)

Hope to meet you both soon, till then.... Ride Safe

Can anyone join or is it military/ex military only?

Everyone is welcome to join the Royal British Legion http://www.britishlegion.org.uk/content/Legion-Membership-509086.shtml.

The RBLR is just a branch of the RBL, same as you might have in your home town/city, but we don't have a club or building, the whole world is our club house 8-)

All we ask is that you help and support fund raising for the Poppy Appeal.

I also found out that my head does not fit an AGV, Roof or Arai...

Was told by a nice bloke who knew his stuff that I should get a Shoei XR1000....

Told him I already got one....

May have to look at a Shark helmet.....
