Yes I bought a new battery yesterday. The bike had been standing for 10 years. I've lubed the piston barrel before I even tried to turn the engine over by hand. I've replaced the starter solenoid, the brushes in the starter motor and 2 ground and 1 live cable.
Hi everyone I need a bit of help I have a kawasaki zr7 1999 that will crank over really slowly drains the battery and terminals get warm. I have taken the spark plugs out and it turns over great put the spark plugs back in and it turns over slowly. I've taken the starter motor out of the bike and wired it up with jump leads and it spins over fine. I am able to spin the engine by hand so the engine isnt seized. Any advice would be appreciated cheers
