  1. Hi thanks for that Keith, however it isn't the studs that are the problem as they are new, its the block itself as it has cracked from when I taped the old ones out as they were welded in and had to grind them off. Murph
  2. Killing flys...what fun and going for a run...probably with them chasing me lol

    Speedo cable

If you need to lube the new cable use some 3 in 1 oil, works a treat. Used it on my brake cable.
  4. Lexmoto/Haotian front end? Looks good.

    Exhausts

+1 on that also if they believe that it is unrestricted and there for are unlicenced to ride the bike/scooter etc then you will be breaching the terms of your insurance as you have modified your vehicle and there for making it illegal for them to ride it, insurance may be terminated.

    Exhausts

Will do, and will put pics up. Had to make up some bull excuse for my mum to why I am spending money on a new exhaust, but it all depends on whether I can get a F*%$ING bolt out! Its rusted in there like a mother f*cker! Hit it with a hammer! No joking, if all else fails grind it off

  8. Peugeot ludix Blasters are fairly good and quite nippy. And ye it will have an electric start
  9. Check the bolts? Garage might have removed it and not tightened it up properly.
  10. Not dumb really, they can be good bikes. If you ever go to view or buy a bike get them to start it and then start it yourself so there is no foul play and then you can see for yourself if anything is wrong. If you get a bike delivered always ask them to start it or start it infront of them to make sure it is fine. What was wrong with it then?
  11. Did you get it done at a garage? have you checked for a choke? Could it be your throtle isn't adjusted right, check it has enought free play as if your throttle has no play then you are going to get a faster rev idle faster than if you had the right play, will be in your manuel the right specs.
  12. Hi there, sounds a bit like my story above. When I went back the second time I had blue riped gloves on and when I took the off at the end my hads were died blue, looked like I had badly bruised my hand. Don't let it get you down, when I passed of a scooter I bought a geared bike and just went around my local streets to gain my confidence on it. You could always get a bike and just ride it to a car park and practice...theres always the scuba kit place Pretty bad that he didn't stop you both and replaced the earpiece for the girl as its standard safety for the instructor to be able to comunicate with every pupil incase of an acsident or emergency. Helmets are meant to be tight but not painful, you are meant to have plumped cheeks (kinda looking like a fat kid with its face shut in a lift).
  13. Never realised it was a scooter. Anyway does your scooter have a air choke? As the Haotian I owned did and got nocked easily and made the bike speed up and idle fast when stood still at light etc and then obviously when put back to normal it is fine again. Not to sure about scooters as only ever had motorbikes (only ever ridden a scooter once in the pouring rain) so might sound dumb if they dont have chokes. Check the choke? Mine was on the left handlebar and was a sliding one (all way left is off...all way right is fully on...anything inbetween is on but not fully). Might be on your carb if so will be a push and pull one (pushed in is off...pulled out is on). If that is no help and nothing to do with ur scooter but what the hell you learnt something about chokes.
  14. Thanks Tango. Yeah would like to build something bigger, or make this better but only time will tell as money is key. I think if i sold it for a reasonable sum and could get a project for a cheap I would definatley do it again. Its just a good feeling as I can now say 'I build that!'.
  15. Yeah definatley, learnt alot when doing it. Should get a MT50 nice little bike and straight forward. A few on ebay that don't need much doing to them. What I like about them is you can use alot of bikes for donours such as all the MTs & MBs, the H100 engine fits nicely in and the CR80 can be used aswell for parts such as the swingarm. Seen one with a AM6 engine in it but you need to mount a radiator as its water cooled. I wanted to put a CR80 Swingarm and eather a big bore (60cc) cylinder on it or a h100 engine.
