  1. Ouch! I had shin splints when I used to run in some cheap slazenger trainers, not very nice. I have been told air max 90s are very good for running but dont have any ventelation for you feet to breath. I don't run far at the moment. I went for a run to the local park in my asics but had very little grip when running over a wooden walkway with chicken wire over it, took twice as much energy to run the 10 meter long platform as my feed slid...also got chased by a dog that looked like a racoon/gremlin.
  2. Hi, I prefer ASICS to the other brands, just feel better. Not sure there is a specialist shop in teesside, probably try flog me the best trainers they have in stock...simple just teel them you have £20 and offer it for the £120 glow in the dark turbo run 9000s x2.5zr....made up shoe.
  3. I will take a look thanks. What is your 1.5 time? Army PT is a proper beasting did one last week at glencorse and we were all f$%£%d, think we ran mile and half in that aswell.
  4. Hi thanks for that Keith, however it isn't the studs that are the problem as they are new, its the block itself as it has cracked from when I taped the old ones out as they were welded in and had to grind them off. Murph
  5. The ASICS trail trainers seemed pritty rigid but i read that they are meant to be like that so you down hurt your feed on rough terrain. When I put them on they felt great, I actually jumped up and down in them and they were very soft. Any idea on where or not I could run on tarmac no problem in them? There was a few staff about but were all talking and trying on hats so I guesed the wouldn't know anything about the trainers...i highly dobt they even knew what their job was.
  6. What model of newbalance are they?
  7. Does anyone know anything about different types of running trainers?? I have been looking for a new pair of running trainers but I am a bit lost, can't find any reviews that help in terms of whether or not they are good for roads/paths or just off-road/trail (or both which is what I need). I started running learly last year and was wearing just a cheap pair of slazenger trainers and soon bined them for some ASICS seen in the link below. >>> http://www.simplysports.co.uk/asics/gel ... te_men.htm I have been recomended Nike Air Max 90 trainers, but a bit unsure. Also been looking at ASICS Patriot 4 running shoes which seem fine, but don't know. But today I went to gooutdoors and had a look at their selection, didn't have much but they had a pair of ASICS GEL-TRAIL LAHAR 4 and was very impressed at how good they felt but have been trying to find out a bit about trail trainers whether or not they will be ideal for me. I have read that the grip will wear down after a while on trail shoes if used on tarmac...which is what i will be running on. BASICALLY I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER OR NOT THE ASICS GEL-TRAIL LAHAR 4 WILL BE ALRIGHT FOR ME TO RUN ON THE ROADS AND PATHS WHERE I LIVE WITH NO PROBLEM AND NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THEM WEARING DOWN AND BECOMING USELESS. IT SAYS THAT THEY ARE GOOD ON ALL TERAIN..DOES THIS INCLUDE TARMAC...ANY HELP PLEASE???? http://www.asics.co.uk/running/products ... -g-tx-men/
  8. Killing flys...what fun and going for a run...probably with them chasing me lol

    Speedo cable

If you need to lube the new cable use some 3 in 1 oil, works a treat. Used it on my brake cable.
  10. Lexmoto/Haotian front end? Looks good.

    Exhausts

+1 on that also if they believe that it is unrestricted and there for are unlicenced to ride the bike/scooter etc then you will be breaching the terms of your insurance as you have modified your vehicle and there for making it illegal for them to ride it, insurance may be terminated.

    Exhausts

Will do, and will put pics up. Had to make up some bull excuse for my mum to why I am spending money on a new exhaust, but it all depends on whether I can get a F*%$ING bolt out! Its rusted in there like a mother f*cker! Hit it with a hammer! No joking, if all else fails grind it off
  13. Peugeot ludix Blasters are fairly good and quite nippy. And ye it will have an electric start
  14. Check the bolts? Garage might have removed it and not tightened it up properly.
