As an owner of a Husqvarna norden, I would advise all potential buyers to go for the KTM 890R instead. At under 2000 miles, on my first big trip from Cambridge to Morocco. I had a problem with the fork seals, just as I was about to board the ferry. I contacted the nearest Husqvarna dealership, which was in Malaga 80 miles away. They confirmed that Husqvarna would replace the fork seals under warranty and it would take about 3 hrs. I got the bike to the dealership but oil had leaked over the brake discs and calipers. They then said they didn't know the norden expedition had bigger forks than the standard norden. So they didn't have the 48mm seal kit required. I had to return to my campsite by bus and taxi. I contacted Husqvarna UK, but they said sorry nothing we can do. It took Husqvarna Spain two week to get the parts and repair the bike. I found out later that I had ridden past a KTM dealer 14 miles away. They had the parts to repair the bike the same day. I am told thrre is no cooperation between KTM and Husqvarna. I sold a KTM to buy the Husqvarna, this was a big mistake. I lost two weeks of my holiday thanks to this Husqvarna dealership. It didn't end there, I later received a invoice from the dealership. They claimed Husqvarna were not now paying for the repair. ? So I have lost faith in Husqvarna.

Hi fellow bikers. First long trip on the Husqvarna Norden Expedition. I am live near Cambridge and am on my way to Morocco. Fork seals started leaking oil near Tarifa. Told to take it to the nearest Husqvarna dealer 80 miles away in Malaga. As this is being done under warranty. No Husqvarna parts to fix this in Spain. ? So have been stuck here over a week and yet ktm dealers have the parts ?
