Depending on my shift pattern, potentially French/Italian Alps in June with Bonio. Possibly revisit Eifel in September too (he doesn't know that yet so don't tell him) Also, if anyone fancies a great day riding in Wales, the national road rally will be held on the 10th May and it's a great day!! (ACU Welsh National Road Rally - see fcaebook) -

All good advice. Cheers! I'll keep trawling and see what I come up with. Limiting factor seems to be the rim size from what I can ascertain. Plenty of hybrid tyres for 19", not so many for 17" Thanks again

Hi Thanks for the info. Yes you're correct with the sizes quoted and I'll be riding it there and back on one set of tyres. 4000 miles in total and approximately 1000 of those on gravel. I use Michelin by choice but happy to use anything that'll be suitable and would last the trip. I've not ventured off the tarmac previously either and I'm more gormless than guru Ta

All, I have foolishly signed up for a tour of Morocco in the New Year and am looking at tyres suitable for a gravel/tarmac mix. Has anybody out there fitted these to a road bias Multi 1260? I'm finding it difficult to find stuff that is suitable and that will fit my rims. 17" f&r ps please don't tell Bonio as he's not speaking to me currently

Looking forward to it immensely mate. Had a local trim company fit some more foam inside my seat this week in the hope it'll make the darn thing a little more comfortable. I was in tatters after Wales...... See you Saturday
