Challenge 2025 Challenge 2025 - Registration
Essexboy replied to Hoggs's topic in General Rideouts/Meets
Hi May I register for this year please (although a little late) Number 71 of possible but tbh, happy with anything Thank you -
Brilliant! Thanks I've just discovered it and looks like a blast. I'll be registering for sure. The first map link I clicked put me somewhere in the South Atlantic. The second worked and I can spend the next few evenings planning an area (or two) to visit. Thanks again.

Good day to you all! I was wondering if anyone is taking a trip or short break on their bike end May/early June and would put up with a tag along . It turns out my wife and daughter are off to Benners for the week on the booze and my dog is on holiday too that week. (They thought I'd be at sea but I'll be home) Or, does anybody know of any shows/events that may be on at that time please? Thanks for reading

That's how I bought a Monster

I owned a CB650R previously and it was a cracking bike and would have another. Some schools are affiliated to Honda (for example) and used to offer big savings on a new bike when you passed your test. I got 1K knocked off a brand new bike as I passed with a Honda affiliated school. Might be worth asking your local training schools if the deal currently exists?

You've sussed me out

Anybody out there got an old workshop manual kicking about that they'd like to part with? Haynes or otherwise is fine. Can purchase new but would like to re-home one

Ref my engine light flappy exhaust thingy, after a short ride today. I stopped the engine, and re-started it. Engine light extinguished Then, rode into the dark side of Suffolk and had coffee with Sir Bonio. Went even further into the badlands and purchased another motorcycle......which was nice

Not yet no. I shall do and I'll remove the servo motor complete when it isn't so bloody cold in my garage. Yes I'm a softie. On my bike, the flappy thing with an unloaded spring is in the open position. The light is still showing on the dash but the instructions state it'll extinguish after a short run or two. I'll report back tomorrow if the weather allows a ride

I also received an email from "the bay" stating I've purchased an illegal product and that I shouldn't fit it as it contravenes emission laws and I should dispose of it. It's a mad mad world

Thanks very much for the advice! I appreciate and have taken it on board. I'll give it some more thought. Hopefully not too much as it may sell..... Thanks again
