  1. I've heard really wonderful things about Sintra as well. It seems to consistently come up as a top destination when people discuss Portugal. It's a good reminder for me to be sure to allocate enough time there on my upcoming trip. Portugal has so many beautiful areas it's hard to see it all in one visit.
  2. Haha, to each their own! Embracing your travel style is key to making the most of your journeys. In any case, happy travels wherever you end up going, @S-Westerly!
  3. I wanted a trip this year, but I’m the type of person who likes to plan every little detail of the trip, it looks like next year will be the right time! I’ve already been to Spain and missed the chance to visit the neighboring country Portugal. I think Portugal would be perfect for touring in a motorbike. The Algarve is in the top of my list of places to visit https://www.ride.co.uk/routes-content/alentejo-and-algarve, but also includes the Douro Valley. I have used the services of a local guide while I visited Spain, and I was relieved to know that they also offer the same services in Portugal through https://gowithguide.com/portugal/guides
  4. Love those crazy oval pistons and the whole "thinking outside the box" approach. Even though it wasn't a racing success, it's cool to see Honda pushing boundaries.
  5. The GSX-8S seems like a well-rounded package for the price. I dig the balance between performance and comfort.
  6. Man, I've always been curious about the 999! Heard mixed things over the years, but this guy's experience sounds awesome.
  7. Thanks for the tip, @Geordie Oldie! I agree, magazines can be tempting with all the interesting content they offer. Readly sounds like a great way to access a variety of magazines, especially with the free 3 months.
  8. Welcome to the forum, Paul!
  9. That appears to be a 1973 Honda CB500.
  10. Welcome back, looks like you got yourself a beaut!
  11. Congrats on the new ride, @Dugggie! Sounds like you had a great ride back
  12. I head to the optical shop alone, helmet on, to try a few frames. I have a favorite titanium frame, so I usually just have the lenses changed. Last time I bought a new frame, but only used it for 5 months before switching back to my trusty titanium. Sports glasses aren't my style; they make me dizzy.
  13. Congrats on the new CBR, Troy! That's one seriously great-looking machine!
