  1. I’ve no idea, fired straight up when rac man gave it a jump he suspects duff battery as the bike is putting out plenty of volts when running Got it home (60 min ride) and it refused to start again Left it a few hours and it fired up lost confidence in it now as I can’t trust it to restart …
  2. Planned a day of points gathering but only managed Carlton war memorial & deersbrook farm as bike broke down after taking pics at last stop
  3. Seen an exhaust on eBay for my bike but not sure of the maker. anyone recognise the sticker??
  4. Generic ram mount would do, maybe cheaper on eBay
  5. Fitted heated grips today and when removing old grips , I discovered the previous owner had fitted not one, but two pairs of grip puppies amazingly I can now operate the clutch a lot better! Hoping tomorrows weather is kinder so I’m able to put bike back together and maybe actually get out on it
  6. Removed from my triumph yesterday as fully working tenner takes em
  7. Well, yesterday my phone mount arrived so I thought I’d quickly fit it but it’s turned into a more serious operation! I took a few panels off looking for places to run wires for charging lead etc and before I knew it the front end was missing while it was apart I decided to remove the hid lights and retro fit halogen bulbs ( will upgrade soon) its currently still in bits as I’m gonna fit heated grips today a lonely bloke and a tool box is a dangerous mix
  8. Bought myself an ultimate addons phone mount and case this week also. I had one years back for my iPhone 5 and was brilliant in all weathers so it was my natural choice to fit on the triumph. the later ones seem to have more clasps to keep the water out and feel more rugged over all My only negative comment is they no longer come with the battery lead with the switch, just a usb lead now Still good value in comparison with other brands though
  9. So in order to get back up and running again I needed a new Bluetooth headset as I got rid of my old faithful t-com set from years back i don’t have loads of money to spend so looked around for a couple of evenings to see what I liked the look of. The midland caught my eye as I’m familiar with the brand from my CB days and it wasn’t extortionate I only fitted in helmet last night so I’ve yet to road test it as such but the sound quality and volume surpasses what I had with the old unit so I’m pleased with it so far. I’ll update when I’ve been out and about using it for real
  10. I’m on vitamin B and cod liver oil
  11. Managed a few hours out yesterday with my mate i didn’t suffer so bad so I’m hoping, luring the cable, adjusting the lever and different gloves may have helped. I’m also doing some stretching exersices to see if that helps. so far so good
  12. Bars are stock for the bike, it does have adjustable levers tho. I’m not quite sure of the pros/cons of them I always adjust the levers so my wrists aren’t bending to grab the levers , shoe one on here taught me that many’s years ago! I’ll be popping out on it later to see if the different gloves are any help
  13. Ordered, do you get points for challenge 100 for mentioning @Hoggs
