I'll have to have a think, whenever someone is next at a track day like this again i'm hoping someone from here will be going just to show me the ropes and some tips:) I can just see myself being laughed at with a stock 4 stroke 125 at a track whilst there's people with thousands of pounds worth of gear on there bike

My YZF is far, far away from being any sort of decent track bike everything is stock except for the exhaust so I can't see my 0-60 in half an hour YZF obliterating zx10rs Would be pretty fun though to race on track, I drive like a loon 70% of the time on the roads and if I can race on tracks I think I wouldn't have as much of a need to ride on the rev limit all the time I'll probably come to watch when a TMBF member next goes to see what I'm up against and ask a few questions about what I'll need then make a final decision

That's awesome I get told I like to live a champagne lifestyle with lemonade money, or words to that effect How does he get himself out of the money problems without getting rid of the TZR?

Oooohhhh awesome, I think taking a 125 to a track is a bit stupid so I'll probably wait till I can afford something more suitable and don't mind sliding across the Tarmac Meh, can't stand arrogance, probably try to avoid the twats if I can I'll probably look into it though

I have a couple of question... Do you need a full license to ride on a race track? Could I take my 125? Is there any more of these coming up? And are they full of twats that laugh at you if you do something wrong? Also have you any piccies mr fro?

I haven't a clue, I've rung them up and asked if I can pay the bill in instalments and they've asked for bank statements from the past three months to prove how broke I am So I'm awaiting a call to see if they can arrange something a little more reasonable than 300 quid in 7 days If I can keep the TZR I can't see much being done for at least 3-6 months, which sucks

If only I could! The TZR still needs a full paint job which I don't have neither the skill or money to finish, and unless I find 300 quid in the next 6 days I'll be getting bummed for not paying! As much as it kills me to sell the TZR in the final part of the restoration but this bill needs paying and I have no other way of paying it being on a shitty apprenticeship And I think I have ran out of favours with the mother

I have some unexpected debt and my insurance is due next month, and with my insurance history for the first year, it isn't cheap!! So the TZR may have to go! I can't afford to finish it and I need 300 quid in 6 days to pay off a hire bike bill I'll be keeping the scorpion exhaust and I have a bunch of plastics and spare pieces of YZF I can swap straight back onto it when I come to sell it, I have at least another year with my YZF and want to make it as bad ass as I can in that time I don't particularly want it for speed only looks, oh and to keep my tooshie warm in winter He said he can do the job, no problem but wants to see the bike before he starts giving me quotes

I rung him up and he wants pictures of the bike and how I want it, I've sent him what he needs and he'll message me back with a quote Cheers for your help guys I'll keep you all Informed

That does look pretty dreadful I've read his tutorial and he made it all himself with some piping that looks shit, I'll probably end up getting a proper welded one made I just want a cylinder shaped end, his looks like a stock can just ran over a couple times in the car

Only thing that is worrying me about doing it so far is that I've never seen anyone else do it with their YZF, which makes me think that there's a reason why people have never done it? There's someone who's put a r6 exhaust on a YZF but not this

I'll probably be keeping the the header that was originally with the scorpion exhaust and make new pipes from there into the rear of the bike, seems like the 'easiest' way Would a loss of back pressure be harmful to the engine? I only ask because a mate of mine at work has drilled his exhausts to make it louder and nearly every other motorcyclist there moans about back pressure and other things

Hmmmm, I have absolutely no experience with either of them tools, anyone fancy offering? :lol: I think they look awesome, but people have told me stories about losing pressure or something along those lines? I just think my YZF would look awesome with it's exhaust out the back and it'll be out the way through corners

Sorry if this is in the wrong section mods, do as you wish if it's in the wrong place So basically I was wondering if it was possible to make a straight exhaust that comes out of the rear of the bike near the number plate holder, like the aprilia rs50? http://imageshack.com/a/img513/7004/zuv8.jpg Would it affect performance? Would making a new link pipe be expensive? I only want it for cosmetic reasons, nothing else but if it will decrease speed or wear out my engine somehow I can live with my scorpion exhaust Thanks for reading and looking forward to the replies
