  5. Hey guys So I tried nearly everything and was close to getting rid of the bike because I've worked out how much I'd spent on it and it still wasn't working so I was working how much I could get for it and decided to give the carb one last clean and try all the suggestions above and it seemed like my float bowl was sticking, I cleaned it all out, reconnected it all and.... Nothing! Then I saw a little hole for a pipe in the inlet manifold I held it for a kick and it gave me some life! I then held my finger over the hole and turned the choke on, BAM I get life and it idles!!!! I need to have a look out for air chamber pipe! This is the diagram, you can see the pipe, number 12 leading onto number 11. http://www.yamahamotorcyclespares.co.uk ... take?uID=0 "> STUARTTTTT! I need your help with the silly youtube thingy! It still needs tuning but for today I was just happy it idled! Thanks for all your help guys!
  6. Sorry to be a noob Stuart but could you put it into simpler terms for me
  7. How high should the needle usually sit up? Thanks a bunch guys
  8. Also, if I leave for about half an hour and try kicking it it stars around 3rd or 4th kick
  9. How can I check if they're operating correctly?
  10. Hey EAB Fuel spews out the bottom when I open the screw, screws are setup to what people have said on the TZR forum, I cleaned the jets one last time and it started first kick but did the mental screaming again then started to die so I gave it throttle and it stayed alive and I asked my girlfriend to hold the throttle while I change the screws and she let go and it died... again and now wont start :@ Hey Joeman The exhaust is fully connected it's when I open the throttle while kicking it makes a hollow noise I've got the 2 stroke oil in the tank all set up properly with oil running through When I give it a few kicks there is oil on the spark plug but no sign of petrol any where on it
  11. ... Even then it does this "> So hey guys! I've finally got a good spark after a CDI and a fuse change but now I'm not getting any fuel into my cylinder! The jets and carburettor have been cleaned more times than I can count, the float bowl isn't sticking to anything from what I can see (doesn't mean it's not though!) I've not had time to clean up my tank yet so I'm using a lucozade bottle with a pipe running to the carburettor with a small breathing hole at the top. Fuel is definitely getting to the carburettor because when I undo it I get petrol spewing out of it. When I put fuel into the cylinder through the spark plug hole it fires up 3rd or 4th kick like in the video, it's starts up fine and then goes mental before bogging out, I've tried adjusting the idle screws while it's screaming but it doesn't change anything If anyone could help please?
  12. f**k it! Mine is neither a Suzuki or a Honda but a Yamaha! http://imageshack.com/a/img849/3966/vgm2.jpg

    What Fuse? :(

Thanks a bunch guys Love the fast replies I've bought that thing off ebay, then if I blow them as well I'll remember not to throw them away

    What Fuse? :(

Where would I look? Both the manual and wiring diagram refer to it as 'fuse'

    What Fuse? :(

I personally prefer the slow blow When I took them out the ends were falling off so I thought to chuck them There's this on fleabay; http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/110807358556?nav=SEARCH Think I'd be best off buying that?

    What Fuse? :(

Hey guys I'm getting on with my TZR and I'm having a sparking issue and after doing some tests narrowed it down to my CDI (ordered another) but while finding out what was the problem blew both fuses and I've thrown them away now I don't know which fuse I need:( The manual just refers to it as 'fuse' and the wiring diagram refers to it as 'fuse' after a quick ebay search there is a fuse holder and it says they're 15A. So I searched online for 15A glass fuses and their are fuses called 'fast blow' and 'slow blow' (made me laugh a bit ) Which fuse do I get? Also these fuses don't look anything like what mine did look like? Mine was a sort of wiggly metal through it and these other fuses are just a straight piece of metal through them? If someone could please help me?
  17. Haha, awesome!

  21. http://imageshack.com/a/img850/1764/2usg.jpg Exhaust has been painted with high temp paint, cleaned wiring up, fitted radiator few other bits and bobs Sorry for the bad picture my heat light is being used to cure the paint and me being a clumsy **** smashed my big main light Still need a few zip ties here and there to tidy things up, need a few new jubilee clips on the radiator and the tidying up should have finished Awaiting the carburettor and front brake calliper and should be good for a cheeky road test http://imageshack.com/a/img46/6350/ylhs.jpg I'm low on fuel apparently
