    New chain

Arrived today will get some pictures up of the bits. and then will get on it friday if its nice weather! Also if anyone wants to buy parts for a chinese bike i have a discount code for this supplier
  3. Bike maintenance tomorrow morning. Followed by babysitting my niece while i eat fish and chips. Then riding around sunday if its nice followed by a home cooked hog roast! Job done!
  4. Bikes AND chilli? Wicked cool. I'll have to check cambridge out some point
  5. Not sure how you go about tightening yours. But on mine i have to push the wheel back (Nut and bolt) and when it gets to the end i either have to change the chain or remove a link. Also if the teeth on the sprocket are worn out thats a potential sign it's getting worn.
  6. Hahaha. I just turned right 3 times for any left
  7. Ah decent I bought a pair of big ass boots on recomendation from a friend. Problem was they go up to the knee and there was no movement to change gears. Fine on a tall bike but on a short cafe racer it's not good.

Ok after some searching on ebay i have found all 3 parts. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360849816991? ... EBIDX%3AIT Rear sprocket http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380862991428? ... EBIDX%3AIT Front sprocket http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lextek-Heavy- ... 54043763d6 Chain Chain length is correct and the sprockets fit a trackstar which apparently is the same bike as mine. £46.54 total cost is reasonable. Will order payday and get them changed over.
  11. Looks chuffed Take it easy and get him a bike when he's old enough
  12. If only looks better without it but the roads are dangerous enough without someone cutting me up on a roundabout.
  13. They look goooood. Whats the movement like? as in changing up gears can you bend your foot enough or is it completely rigid?
  14. Indicator slightly different in that picture. mine has a piece of metal and attaches to the grab rail bolt. Managed to find a sinnis dealer who can source a part and attach for £20 total, WHen it comes to fiddly pieces of crap like that i don't mind paying £10 labour
  15. You lot will enjoy this story.. RIding to work down the A12 and towards the end of my journey i notice my indicator not working as it's flashing real fast on the front one. So i decide to wait and get to work before looking at it. Anyhow. I get to work, i get off the bike. Test the right side make sure it's nothing else dodgy. all Good. So i test the left side, Front one is fine look towards the back one.... Gone. It's not there. The bolt holding the cowl on and the indicator and grab bar has come out and the indicator has dropped i assume caught the wheel and rippped off.. soooo i'm out one indicator and one bolt Question being can i put ANY old indicator on, ie will it fit?

Don't have the tools though? Heard you need specialist tools to remove chains? Also i have nothing to keep the bike in the air except a wheel spinner. standard paddocks don't fit my bike.

Will head down a garage tonight maybe and speak to them about it i reckon £60 for chain £40 labour (one hour) so £100.. lot of cash but if it needs it.

    New chain

Only planning to have it till end of june.. So will have to weigh up the cost. Dont wanna fork out for a wicked chain only to get a few hundred miles out of it
  24. Go and look at it. Take someone who knows bikes well with you. Scratches on tank sound like its been dropped so worth checking for any dodgy ness. Also handlebars weights i believe (could be wrong) sit on the end to reduce vibrations. Aswell as if you drop them it scratches those instead of your bike.
  25. Spent a couple hours letting it soak a fair bit of the crap came off so it kinda works. dodnt want to completely submerge it incase it got stuck inside and damaged it. EIther way its slightly better.
