  2. Mally ....... "it's a Runwhatubrung" it's good fun there are no "classes" you set your own time against the clock
  3. it's up for sale if you want it ... £10,000. The bike is 1500cc with Nitrous Oxide and runs low 8's
  4. I'm on pic three with Macca on his white Busa and pic 2 is Shilly taking my Fazer for run He "cleared the carbs" for me so I went from dreadful 14's to a good 12.9 secs @ 121 MPH. Kev (kja.busa) is on the "unfaired" red Busa

  6. not really had a chance to post yet... but a great time was had by us It really is sooooooooooooo funny being sober when everyone else is affected by the demon water Great giggle, wanted to stay longer but other plans forced us home.
  7. what time you all meeting up?? Am I still ok to bring "sproggy" and her mate?? woohoo sooooooooo looking forward to this lol
  8. I had the same discussion AND had been told by a couple of folk "what do you want with a bigger bike?? your 600 is fine for you" I felt I had outgrown the 600 and was fed up of being up and down the gears or stuck in third depending on where I was riding. Some folk will not agree and they ride the 600 just for the very reason of the gears ... each to their own. I try to equate the difference between a 600 and a bigger bike as the difference between a 1 litre car and a 1.9 deisel - it's just a steadier and more planted ride with the ability to get up to the speed limits a bit quicker than you sometime realise Sounds like you do need to do a lot of thinking and don't forget to add in the extra insurance costs too. The fun is in the planning
  9. I chose the Fazer.... but then I would. I have no problem with power output. The suspension on it is infinitely more adjustable and the brakes are far better and it is also a far more stylish bike as the Bandit always looks a bit dated. The Fazer thou is a very different bike to the 600, but just as much "fun" once you get used to it. You shouldn't have the same problem with the tank bag that I have.... bit squashed The fueling is only an issue if you let it be .... there are plenty of aftermarket gizmos either new or second hand to sort any potential problem out.
  10. Well get yourself to a RWYB to practise your starts
