  4. Sorry for delay on posting - been otherwise engaged..... but to complete the thread..... A very, very wet day but an absolutely awsome one!! A very humbling experience as well. I was back marker for a couple of runs ( second run was a different route but hey ho we just followed the Police!!!) There were loads of folk there - so much for "fair weather riders" - will try and post some pics to demonstrate. If you were there sorry I missed you - but I waved to loads of bikes as they were leaving for their runs. A thank you from the Brigadier "> Someone's video of a few runs "> Newspaper report showing the waiting riders http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/8 ... _soldiers/ couple of pics

  9. I would say an all weather rider but with limits?? if that is possible I don't ride between November and March mainly as I live next to the sea and the salt air is enough to corrode my bike withour the salt in the road adding to it. I don't have anywhere dry and warm to store my bike on a day to day basis and the main reason I'm getting too old for all that

    Speedo problem

Was out today at a Bikesafe event. Went on an observed ride and at the end the Police Officer said my speedo is out about 6/8 !! ie when it reads 30 I'm doing 22/24mph, when it was reading 70 I was doing only 62/64mph I would really like to get this fixed - does anyone know how??
  22. have a good one got our first ever "RHHT" (Royal Hull Hospitals Trust) employee ride out from Castle Hill to Brid for fish and chips lol none of us know each other (I don't think) will be strange
  23. sounds like it all worked out well
  24. Try adjusting your mirrors again with the help of a mate. he needs to stand about 2 car lengths behind you, then sit on the bike and hold the handlebars as if you were riding and then adjust your mirrors. I had a YBR AND I'm a big girl and I never had any problem when they were adjusted correctly. (Sorry but bar end mirrors are gay )
