  1. Bike insurance sites usually ask if you have a driving licence too so by putting in yes to that and length of licence held then your insurance may come down quite a bit as you know the rules of the road and have experience ect. You can book in to do all your tests at once so ergo passing full test sooner then you can just buy the bike you want, and even use motorways

    Chain tension

Its like suzuki with the gsxr, you release hub nut set slack then when you do it back up it tightens the chain, doesnt say anything about that in the manual.
  3. Sounds like little jonny has taken a step into the big wide world without holding his mothers hand and she is acting out. As long as all was disclosed then caveat emptor (buyer beware) and just for the record sold as seen isnt legally binding as an underlying issue that the buyer isnt made aware of thats not easily picked up cannot be covered by 'sold as seen' how ever, sound like her argument is with the origionality of the mialage, and mot garage competency which isnt your boggle and is her duty to prove or not so not to worry you prob wont hear much more on the subject
  4. Ps3 for me that only ever gets used for netflix these days
  5. Ok, I'll give it a good cleaning later, see it that helps. Plugs and oil were all changed during repair. i meant plugs as in for the electrical connections to sensors lol my bad
  6. Temp sensor first buddy, swap it out and go from there it sounds electrical like you say, then get more in depth with thermostat ect. You want to check plugs ect first as one may have become damaged in the accident or not plugged in correct when rebuilding. Or if you have a manual temp gauge you could try plumbing that inline to compare with electric one

    WOW!

Thats real craftmanship, i admire people that can create things like that. My brother is good with the lathe in woodwork, when he was ten he made a wooden wine glass with a ring round the stem. Ten!!
  8. if the cycle lane is distinguined by a broken line then yes you can enter and filter, if solid then no
  9. Thats an optimistic speedo and 120 in a 30 taking this long to get up to 120 sounds worthy of being let off ">
  10. There is some pics i believe on the facebook page in the link at the top taken by people who attended but i was all over the place sorting things out selling tickets ect to take pics
  11. I saw her at wheels a couple weeks back im sure, with a guy on the back of her 3 wheeler. That thing got some looks when it pulled in its a really cool bit of kit,
  12. Well done moo, now time for the mod 1+2
  13. Very true. You steer one way and the bike wants to tip the other way because of momentum ect. You use countersteering to aim the bike in the right direction. Have a look onyoutube for it there is many vids, twist of the wrist is a cheesy but very very good vid. Its a tad hard for anyone to explain to a degree that people understand in words.
  14. Well a succesful day was had. I didnt get around everyone there today but met KD79 thanks for coming. We raised £463 on the day and still have the sweetie jar comp thats running until next sunday to add to total. Nice ride to cafe and had around 20 to 30 bikes on the ride although we lost the trikes before we left boston but they made their way there in the end. Most people filled their faces with the great food. I didnt manage to get any pics apart from th meeting point as i was all over the place all day and now tired.

  18. 70 if the conditions state. As for filtering i was told i was expected to filter if the situation presented its self, dont know why as its not compulsory and some bikers never filter. I was followed by the examiner in a car so i wasnt able to filter but i had covered it in lessons
  19. No probs niel. 20. knowing my luck ill lose balance and fall off or get my foot caught in the wheel
  21. I live in south lincolnshire, it was just outside spalding
  22. He aproached the front of the van not the rear of the van? Unfortunatly for me if they can get you out the front window of a van then ill be up in court at the least, my own fault i know. I slowed down so when i passed the van and rode away from the rear i was doing the limit, but approaching the front end of the van i was over
  23. im praying i should be ok, #takingiteasynowon
  24. Does anyone know for sure the answer to this as looking on the web theres a lot of speculation but nothing certian. In lincolnshire does anyone know if the camera vans can track speed of a vehicle while aproaching the front end of a camera van. I know they have radar equiptmentin the back catching cars coming towards the back of the van and going away from the back of the van and i know there is a camera in the front to catch rear facing plates such as bikes, but i was silly and came towards a van yesterday from the front. Also on the aproach i was on a long gradual bend and not aproaching from head on. I know the classic line of wait and see but i was hoping someone would know for sure if they catch you this way too
  25. The cast is horrible to weld and although strong when made to do its job by cutting and welding it you lose all its strength, cast is ok but billet is way stronger, i had this conversation last week with local metal shop thats making a press for us. So your brothers billet one would have taken a hell of a lot more pain than cast
