  2. They not makin them take hols aparantly they are saying its unpaid and just heard the latest, its up to them to do overtime before and after to make up the hours
  3. Interesting, thanks for the links, she is speaking with her mum who has a union, i just find it appauling that with a contract they can make you redundant in affect for a couple weeks.
  4. Thats a smart lid mate
  5. She hasn't got a union she thinks. So she can be made to take it as holiday then?
  6. My other half has just told me that in march her shop is closing for two weeks for a refit. Now she has been told that despite having a 27 hour a week contract she will be unpaid for this tine and has been told to take the time off as holiday. There is no offer to work in any other local stores (two others within 3 miles) Now as far as im concerned she is contracted to work and they are olbliged to supply the hours? I have told her to contact hr but does anyone know where she actually stands? I was paid by carphone warehouse years ago when they closed for a refit
  7. Not sure if this helps at all but my friend repairs iphones and he gets all the parts from ebay, although i dont know the brand i know he pays 20 quid for the screen AND digitizer and he has no probs, make sure it includes the digitizer or you will have the impossible task of seperating yours from the broken screen
  8. Problem with motovolggers is there is so many out there. If you think of a subject the chances are its been covered. Here is a rundown on some i watch and follow and why..... Baron von grumble-he makes me laugh with his rants, love his variety of bikes. He does some good editing and series like his euro tour and track days. He also engages the people. Royal jordonian- the sound of his nuda and s1000r is awsome, he doesnt talk much, great skill at filtering and mainly does daily observations. Riding with tom-fairly funny and the furst i subscribed to. Tritriplekylie and quinten redbeard- they are an item, seperate channels but do dual vlogs, very entertaining (potty mouths but i dont care) do tours, meet with other vloggers for rideouts, kylie does greenlaning. Moonfleet41- delboy is a legend, mainly does how to guides, build series and some rideouts. Im a member on his forum idiot collective and he makes a lot of apearances on there. Hope this helps in anyones quest to get subs
  9. Willingham woods is a good crack was there a few times last year. My route home is towards a16 direction which is all good roads then down to boston. Just got rid of my k2 telefonica but i remember seeing one when i was there maybe this was you?
  10. Get a did set if you can stretch they are good sets with warrenty. Contary to popular believe chains dont stretch the rollers wear down and then it needs adjusting to compensate. How are the teeth on the sprockets thats usually a good indication of overall condition if changed all together
  11. This is how my stepdad ended up in a smash that sent his car rolling into a field upside down going through a set of traffic lights, one car in the right lane waiting to tyrn flashed the guy in opposite direction to turn right straight into the path of my stepdad at 40. Common sense doesnt provail unfortunatly
  12.
  13. Engine sliders ftw plastics are cheap compared to the casings ect
  14. Sorry to hear pal. Lesson for future. Easy to say i know but i wouldnt buy bike gear online if not for the fitment but the quality too. Unless from reputable trader where you can exchange or return.
  15. oh didnt read this post my bad. Glad it worked out, your right to be causious though
  16. Gift is no way to pay a stranger. A guy on another forum i am on was breaking an evo and 3 people shelled out for parts, most expensive £700 for some coil overs and because he paid by gift there is no comeback he lost his money. You dodged a bullet there like you say
  17. Yes its important for all surfaces to mate together properly, labouring up hills is great for running in rather than nipping round town. 600 miles i would do that in a weekend if the weather wernt too bad, you will be surprised how quick it goes.
  18. I used a self cert for my sump bolt as it had been overtightened
  19. Yes you can do it online, the shark i bought my bike off done it for me before i left. Just need green slip
  20. Erm....... Is this a recipe for a cake
  21. No when you tax online your details will be registered that you have taxed it using the green slip. I bought a bike early dec taxed it right away and log book arrived bike still taxed.
  22. Would love a track day but i have cadwell only half hour away so ill make that my first one i think just dont know when. Still need one piece or zip together leathers
  23. Exactly what i did before, worked well but cant work proper at the mo from aches and pains so movement is ltd and with boredom food comes
  24. I have put on 5kg in the last 4 weeks, know the feeling. Xmas and being stuck in watching tv with broken hand is the culprit. Although unlike u i have never been able to eat what i want
