  1. Thats what the vents are there for, cracking the visor isnt ideal as your finding. Unfortunatly its another case of not being able to test a lid before you buy there is always niggles with all lids. If i had the money i would open a bike shop with an air blaster so people can put a lid on and stand it a jet of air simulating 30mph or 60mph, i have visions of people travelling far and wide
  2. Someone put antifreeze down near me and i lost one of my cats 2 days before xmas just gone because she drank some, chronic kidney failure i would gladly make the drink it themselves. Teabags aparantly work though
  3. Find a quiet area and mark out with cones several obsticles one after another in a continuous loop that you can only complete using clutch control and light braking, show her the course then let her have a go and once she can complete it without putting her foot down once then she is ready for quiet roads and junctions. This was the next step with my missus if she wanted to carry on with a geared bike, the riding school called it a pad session. As it happened ahe lost all confidence because she came off so now not interested
  4. This is whats wrong with the system, sorry but as it sounds she shouldnt have been given cert. some instructors use the easy option of justget a rev and go because they are wasy and they dont need to try and teach them how to ride a bike. Chances are she was taught things that you have listed but because she was overwhelmed its all gone in one ear and out the other. Two options are open to you, take her to another school for further training or to train her yourself. My other half took her cbt and had a further 3 hours afterwards and atill wasnt given her cert because she couldnt slip the clutch properly pulling out of junctions, i saw her do it all in the carpark but all fell apart on the road, she also grabbed a fistfull of front and spilled She was advised to get a rev and go and go back with it (they dont have 125's to learn on) then they would take her out on the road and give her a cert. Hope it all works out, things will click into place before you know it just have patience with her and get her to take it easy
  5. not to everyones intrest but put a cat litter tray somewhere hidden in the garden where rain wont fill it up and drop one of their poops in it that they leave in your garden then at least they will all be in one place and not being trod on. Orange peel works on some cats, not all mind as mine just ignores it.
  6. Not funny at all and common sense should tell you to not put things like that on open forums ect so the simpletons dont actually follow this advice
  7. I wouldnt think a bandit would be that low, i done my test on one and even with my weight on wasnt particularly low, has the bike been lowered by previous owner? Yh a raising kit should help indeed
  8. Bob it and forget the suspension. Only messing im going with oldmember and say do it yourself, look online plenty of info mess with it ride it mess some more ect. And if all else fails just put everything to the middle (factory) and then get someone to do it for you
  9. Kind of wish i had got down for this but also not too fussed. Mcn shows are overpriced for what you get, they have also now taken over the peterborough show in may because bmf refuse to pay what the showground wants so im guessing the show will be a lot different to previous years, but hey it was a scorcher of a day last year so its a good day out
  10. http://piclnk.net/joeman/Tesco_value_valentine_card.jpeg I didnt see these..... Im going tesco! Leave one of those for her when i leave for work and wait for the you know what to hit the fan although she will prob love it
  11. I say get a decorator in and let him choose, but failing that, the spray gun is a winner. My dad has one and uses it for allsorts of painting jobs, took him ages to commit to one because of the naff reviews but he has since found that the reviews are unjustified as people were prob using wrong kind of paints or not thinning correctly or even cleaning it out after. Just make sure you mask up well
  12. She is getting a card, fake rose in a box and a cusion for her sofa with a pug on it, valentines is a load of rubbish we both agree but we also both know ahe will want at least something
  13. Sounds like replacment chain and sprockets, whats the condition like? As mentioned if it all looks healthy may just be too long
  14. Hate london with a passion, good job i have no need to go there anymore, if i went for any kind of training when i lived in luton a peak ticket return the same day would cost me around £30
  15. Ithink he thinks he knows how it works
  16. Speechless but fair play, think ill stick with my shop bought pinlock visor http://youtu.be/3HYZScEIAiM
  17. Cant really comment on the rst but from what i hear they good eggs. The agv k3 i had as my last helmet, quite warm in the cold nd great airflow in hot, good vis for a sportbike, comfy and fitted me well but head shapes vary, and saved my head when i went down, still looks servicable but as we know its the damage inside that counts so its now just an ornament. And they look cool as hell
  18. I had a lil ride out today not too bad weather, on the way back the roads were finally drying out
  19. From memory any air rifle above 11psi requires a licence, and caliber your only allowed .22
  20. Quite tastful to be honest not over the top at all. Not for me sadly ill stick to my flourecent colour because it doesnt need charging
  21. Bvg is brilliant, wish he done more videoes though. He has done well from youtube, sponsorship and things
  22. http://www.skutr.net/exhaust-valves-and ... explained/ Ill be leaving mine alone until such a time it becomes a problem then ill decide from there but this makes some interesting reading
  23. qualify. DON'T PUT COPPER SLIP ON YOUR FRICTION MATERIAL!!! Silicon grease works better for the friction side..... (JOKING)
  24. The set valve aparantly increases midrange but there is a lot of research online that suggests that its actually a noise reduction thing more than anything else
  25. My dad swears by them, he had one on his old tdm as he was commuting 80 miles a day he said it keeps the chain clean and deffo makes it last. There is different viscosity oils for summer and winter to use. Set up correct i hear theres no other option
