  1. I agree it's a bit steepentry fee. As for things to see I think there was enough for a day to look around a couple of times, much more and we would have missed some of it. The layout could have dome with some better planning as it wasn't very well thought out and the program was shockingly unhelpful but all in all good day out
  2. Great ride out and great day at bmf, arrived at 8:30 ish waited for it to open and left about half 5. Bolt came out of clutch lever on way there so the journey through Peterborough was interesting but luckily found a bolt store. Nabbed a bargain leather jacket and waterproof gloves and got a tad sunburn. Hope all that went had fun
  3. I believe your right they are longer with longer shoulders from what I have seen when mine have been out.
  4. To the left right bends and to the right left bends. And don't be scared to lean it more, the bike can go a hell of a lot lower than you feel comfortable. Smoothly does it and roll on throttle round corners. General rule is if there is chevrons showingthe direction of the corner it's tighter. As already said go down familiar roads and build confidence from there
  5. I would buy I'm picking the missus up so the bike will be at work and won't be back til late
  6. To the idiot on the a17 last night, in the Audi a4, chucking it down with rain and from 60 decided to weigh on anchors to 0 because he just noticed his turning on the right, and decides to indicate when he comes to a stop. Yes it's true what they say cars stop easier than bikes especially in wet, slight switchy arse moment but all made ok as I wasn't a fool and kept the 4 second rule
  7. Me and the pops will be there on Sunday along with couple of friends. I have some shoppingin mind
  8. I'm going to go for some Kevlar jeans, just looking for a style I like
  9. At 17 now you can only do the cbt and when you turn 21 you can do a restricted licence then at 24 a full a licence. They changed it start of last year
  10. Putting tubes in tubeless tyres is a normal trick to get more life out of a tyre. For example if a bead doesn't seal right then by putting a tube in youhave a good tyre that's inflated correctly. When buying a new bike one of the first things you should do is replace the tyres unles they are new already as they are the only thing between you and the road and you don't know their history
  11. Congrats, well done. Good luck with mod 2
  12. Went tonight, very wet, nice bar not sure about the redneck bank but hey. Only 3 or 4 bikes
  13. Anyone going along to this tonight? I know weather isn't brilliant at the mo but hey ho
  14. You will be best getting some over gear. How long is your commute? Any great distance I would say you need proper trousers over the top of yours and a bike jacket over the shirt, with bike boots, and take your shoes in a bag, I wear gloves jacket and helmet for work and just my work trousers but I only travel 10 mins through town, and I carry waterproof trousers in the seat
  15. We might end up there later ontoday after cadwell
  16. You pay for latest designs and lightweight helmets. All helmets conform to minimum safety standards. There's been no reasearch proving that more expensive helmets are anysafer than a 50 quid one. So choose one that meets your criteria and all will be good
  17. Not a track day unfortunately that's coming soon, it's a days racing to watch
  18. Yh I'm off to cadwell park with a couple people tomos and a ride to matlock on Monday with the other half
  19. Datatool alarm with immobiliser and they add on module that calls u when the bike is tampered with
  20. Cadwell park Sunday and matlock Monday
