I don't think it's necessary to have to do it again in 2 years providing I could prove I've ridden my own 50-125cc for that time, however I do plan to pass my full test within the 2 years so I'm not planning on repeating it, it was quite easy but to say I've never ridden a bike before and having to go from, learning how the bike works to going up the road at 60 and then stuck in traffic having to control my speed with the clutch was a lot to take in, I think after a few more lessons I'll concentrate less on what my hands and feet are doing and just focus on the road, at the minute just turning a corner is, Mirrors-brake-clutch-gears-clutch out-adjust throttle-mirrors again-shoulder checks-adjust speed-last shoulder check-corner. That's all going through my head for one corner and can get a bit confusing, but I remember thinking that when learning to drive a car and can't wait until my bike pretty much drives it's self and all I need to do is look out for things that may run over me haha Thanks everyone, if I didn't have so many more projects going on I'd run out and buy a bike tomorow!

Just got back after a days riding I was grouped with 3 16 year olds on mo peds but when we went out for the road ride we split into 2 groups of 2, then the lads mo ped packed up and with the other 2 already being used he had to go home :/, now because of that, that left me on a 125cc geared bike and the instructor so found my self doing 60 up country lanes, stuck in a bit of traffic going really slow, all different types of junctions and roundabouts. Was a mixture of different roads and situations, I definatly learnt allot, the only thing I struggled with was knowing when it's ok to get the speed up as I didn't want to go too mad and seem like I was just wanting to go fast and I was forgetting my indicators are on after corners. I'm really happy with the day, so tired though, but I can now ride a 125 on my own

Hey peeps, so getting my motorbike licence is something I've really wanted to do for a while and last month I booked my CBT with Roadcraft in Aspley Nottingham to kick it all off, I've only ever ridden a motorbike on a 1 hour "lesson" in a car park so am a little nervous, can anyone give me any advice, I know it's pretty idiot proof but not sure what to expect.
