I got down there and was a reasonable turn out.
-
Well, I'm back up and running faster than expected! Might pop down.
-
Not me either now
Blowout / flat / puncture and nobody with the time to look at it today.
-
Anyone going down tomorrow night?
-
Been a long time for me too! Never really been to any ride outs but might start soon, seems like there's few active clubs locally.. Or their just hard to find.. Think SMCC used to meet up every Tuesday but not sure if that's still a thing.

I'll be in Reading... weather is great today to, finally used the bike to get to work!
-
I might actually get out this year!
-
I'd go with yes
-
Did you try Fedora?
I like Ubuntu which typically has always worked for me.
-
Mel31 anyone can tag along
-
And still I'm yet to make an appearance.... If I'm back from working in London at a reasonable hour I'll come down but knowing the customer its not very likely.

I've never made it ... yet ...

I haven't, but I think any attempt I would make at cutting the old exhaust off would be untidy!
Plus that option would only work if I was positive of the outcome!
Ill keep it in mind though, maybe I'll get another stock can and cut that pipe off!

This is what I have, it looks like it might actually be for this model? It looks like it's a Micron as there's kind of an outline of a sticker on it.

Re: £160 for a new one yes I understand this but if this one will go on simply with the right link pipe then it will be like half of that

always great to hear stories like this of other thoughtful motorists in a society of people always in a rush to get somewhere.

Evening all,
I do hope everyone is well.
I have been offered a Carbon can for a good price to replace my current stock can.
My bike is an 02 CBR F sport and I believe the exhaust I've been offered is off of a 98 CBR.
The mounting bracket looks to be in a similar place, do you guys think it will fit? I'm not sure how I'll go about getting a link pipe, any suggestions please?
Thanks!

My bike will be out this week hopefully.... first time this year... usually it'd have been out by now but one of it's lights is out due to a loose connection so I need to fix that first.
-
Yeah you too Neil.. been a bit crap on here since the birth of my daughter
Still have my Bandit.. Just had 2 new Avons fitted so it's feeling good
-
What time do you guys usually get over there?
-
Have you been out yet??
-
Yep snaps back and closes fully. I was a bit sceptical about re-attaching the cables but it seems to be good.
Yeah tonight before 10pm .. probably 5pm i'll be trying that with the idle screw!
