  1. Driving me batty..

.. When you start the bike the indicators flash at a standard rate.

When on the move (rpm.. or battery charge related?)..

.. the indicators have a mind of their own, they flash as if a bulb is out but all are ok.

.. If you slow back down after about 2 minutes it settles and goes back to a regular flash rate!!?

The indicators were on it when I got it but I think they have halogen bulbs rather than the standard ones (indicators are slightly smaller than OEM)

Do you have any ideas? I was thinking about a relay to slow it down like used when you have LEDs but then I figure it's going to be too slow at slower speeds?

    Thanks for any ideas!

  2. Yeah that was my general thinking.

I don't mind going up to 80 with it as is anyway just got me thinking one very windy day how much difference it's make.

Think i'll put the money towards some new sockets or the service next week. (hopefully for a less noisy engine! see other post lol)

I agree naked is best; and i prefer twin to single currently although do like both :D

  3. I'm considering a fly screen for my Bandit which features twin dominator style headlamps.

Has anyone had any experience with these:

To be honest it looks like the same screen at varying prices.

Now.. does this detract from the naked style look that I love about my bike? Will it add the functionality i'm looking for i.e. force some wind over/round me on the motorway?

Looking for any kind of input :D

  4. I've run mine til it stopped once.

Had the tank on reserve the whole time.. when it coughed i went to switch it.. 5ft later.. out of fuel

I got a fuel can delivered to me and chucked it in..

.. off i went with no ill effect.. wouldnt want to keep doing it though just in-case i was lucky that one time.

On that note I did it on my old CG more than once and it was always fine.

  5. No good though as the largest socket is only 19mm apparently and that is like 5mm too small for the largest nut head on my bike and the next largest being 22mm. It looks like a good all rounder but i'd rather spend the extra for less parts and get the £99 set with up to 32mm socket.

I think that will be my next purchase after pay day!

  6. There has to be something draining it as that is an usually short amount of time for a battery to last.

You have any other auto electricians you can take it to?

I'm sure that the other ones must have agreed that it's going flat a little to quick? How can they say that's normal?

  7. Speed for me is not a problem.. depends on the distance and date as i don't currently have the bike in possession.

I've arranged a couple of meets before for cars so if you need any help with anything i'd be happy to lend a hand... even if it's just to bend your ear to make it a bit closer to where i live

Maybe i'll add myself to this map.
