noticed on two strokes Trimmers they smell like lavender (flowers) lol tbh they are only a few quid to buy so why not replace them and piece of mind then.

(air filter on 2 stroke bikes correct me if i am wrong but aren't some oil coated/foam air filters) Maybe reeds need a clean too clean all hose's out but i still think its CRANK SEALS you can usually tell alot about a engine by the spark plug

Just been to view the bike, its in a sorry state he has sorted some of parts out, there are few things i could do my self, head stock bearing welding etc but after time and money i am not sure if its worth me bothering, i said ill him know what happens tomorrow aftet the MOT! I had left the bike for over a week now untouched started straight away happy days i did a finaly check. Rode it up and down the cul de sacs, stopped and started as it should no problems! Nerves kicking in i can see couple minor things for MOT front disc and tyre not yet fitted the chain set, i was advised to leave it until after the MOT I will update you all tomorrow 16.30pm is MOT time!!

What if me and a friend built something ? Honda Cbr monkey bike special ... does this count Or yamaha t80 -needs forks putting back on front axle needed few little bolts here and there, £150 Full logbook did have MOT runs OR ..... Sinis max 2 or something like that Runs(needs a carb clean and plug) with MOT needs a head light and few other odds and sods £150 as far as i know the logbook present just a few i know of sitting in sheds gathering dust.

Few days till MOT little bit nervous and bit excited. alot of work went into bringing back from the dead. well today a friend of mine who i have known for many years. who is a danger hazard to the other road users. who has countless accident's rang me to explain his Honda hornet failed its Pretest MOT, VIA MAIN DEALER... he wrung to find out how much for the er500... i said i would consider taking the 600 as part ex as long as there cash my way.. so maybe next project after the er500 might be a hornet 600. Bumble bee. i told him about the front tyre but he is not too fussed, i said £1200 or near offer looking to at least get £1000 for the bike is this too much for the bike or not ? full history 2 keys low miles... but what should i accept if i take the Hornet as PX ? i am going to do it up and resell it back on. OR sell it straight on ? (waiting the long list of bad bits first before i say yes or no) Ebay was no help... prices all over place (tried to stay just with the bidded auctions)

Well hi guys sorry for no updates, on some of the projects work picked up. Right so my sisters first son sat on the kawasaki 500cc and hasn't shut up about the bike(good stuff) i mentioned to my sister whats your oppions of me building him something slow but cool looking. She is happy with that because i would be putting stabalisers on it restricting it. So starting checking out different mini bikes one popped up for .99p om ebay about half hour drive. I won the mini bike for £10.11 its in a sorry state, its nothing fancy twist and go miniture dirt bike. I collected it lasy night its rusty as feck. But its a starter be looking to make it run and ride etc etc spend on restricting it, then teach him the basic's, when i feel he is ready to move up to gears i will sell this one on and build something bit more fancy. So have you guys done anything like this?

update been busy with things and work- but the bike is booked for MOT for the 3rd next week, the old man has insured it happy days. i will keep you all updated nearer the time

Just and update been slowly buying odds and ends this one needs Brought a carb for £35 Still lookibg for parts that are currently missing. Yesterday i rode a honda cbr 125 and movoured it around a car park. I no longer want to keep riding 125s or less!! Time to move on. Well my friend is a very happy chappy the poor seller met his match, everything he tried to tell me was a load of bull crap.... £750 bike sliced to £380 needed full front fairing indicator, tyres fork seal, exhaust was blowing from the head.... Well my friend honda monkey bike build was designed over a week ago, and started to take shape last night. I am trying to get him to use as much of the cbr125 as he can, with out spending loads out.... So this may pop up on the threads. The ar50 c10 has been postpond until the kawasaki er500 has sold. Finally got a day of to take it up to the mot station. Tuesday/wednesday. So that will done then move on to the ar50. Yes it will be for sale after the restoration, the ar50 I would estimate i would be looking £1500 or as is in a pile of parts £900-1000 low miles barely any owners. Wheels i have had offered of £750 alone on. Rare to find 99% complete

Thanks i will check them out ... i have grown up with land rovers what i can remeber my dad owning when i was about really tiny bop... series 3 bof 64 it recently found as a pile of parts sad times. 90 Swb country that was nice he had a v8 range rover vogue witch he stripped i had fun stripping with him. and i remember a safari lwb he know only has the 110 its a shared father and son project. chassis has little bit of surface rust but its solid exhaust has rotten out.
