That'll be me I can confirm that whoever comes on this trip won't regret it, it's awesome. I used to worry about doing a euro trip but after going there with Tony in 2012 realised that it's easy-peasy. So much so that I have toured Germany twice on my own since then. The Eifel is a fantastic motorcycling area and is a cheap trip away. The hotel in Neuerburg is amazing value and apart from spending money on petrol, I've never spent more than 10 euros a day and that is usually for lunch. Also, the Nurburgring is there!
