  1. Haha I've broken down a lot more! And my running costs are considerably higher [emoji38]

Burn alcohol like some vehicles burn oil?

obviously your ninja is a female ninja.... to have that many issues :P

  2. I think this is my 1st nob of the day.

Borght a brand new road racing push bike in xmas eve.

Some old bloke decided to drive the wrong way down the road because he didnt want to drive a extra 20m and turn around properly and turned into his drive taking me and my shiney new bike out.

    Bike is destroyed its bent.

    Nob.

make the arse buy you a new one

  3. Best deals on Sunday as they don't want to pack it all up and take it home..

want to go on the sunday, but might have to travel to kidderminster...... bah

Maidstone to Kidderminster.......via Excell.......... Best tell them you may be late.

have decided that sunday is my day balls to them, and ill just get up early on monday and drive up 2.5/3 hours is plenty.

so who is going on sunday, perhaps a mini meet in one of the cafes/food establishments?

  4. Thanks for your thoughts though I think ageing of the Polystyrene foam is a myth as the material is not degradable, well ok, very slow biodegradable. I can see a bit of logic in those little impacts you expose your helmet every day and the glue issue here might come to play, you never know what's being used. In terms of UV, other than graphics damage it doesn't sound convincing (integrity wise) unless your lid heats up to 100C.

Don't get me wrong guys, I'm not that tight but after 5 years (almost 6) for now I feel my lid is in a good shape, it's been well looked after..

surely having a legitimate reason to go spend money on new Kit is reason enough.... its a valid excuse when it comes to explaining why to my missus, and getting access to the funds.

problem is i have 3 years to go with this lid, think i need to "drop" it before MCN show so i can get another "cheaper than retail" helmet :P

  5. Go get yourself a 2.8 Capri :D :D

is that with the obligatory kerb stone bolted to the boot floor?

    back in the day I had a 1.6 laser, 2.0 gear, mk2 3.0S and then a 2.8i.

the MK2 3.0S was my favorite for flooring around roundabouts to get the rear end out, until one day i did it in the wet (on purpose), over did it a little and ended up facing the wrong way with a pissed of lorry driver giving me the "w**ker" sign of appreciation :P

  6. You could always post rideouts in the relevant section on here

The more you post the more chance of them getting picked up in Google search the more chance you have of bikers joining the forum in your area ;-)

I agree Stu, but its knowing when rides are happening.. its about networking and getting to meet new people. for example, I joined the Southeastern RC and got removed as i had not joined a ride in 2 months (a stipulation of membership) but none has been "local" to me (ie within 45mins ride from home)

without knowing they are happening, how can you post them and let people know :P

  7. What clubs and ride out sites are people members of ?.

I have joined LMRC on Meetup and some of the rides are the other side of london and not Kent based, which can be a pain in the bum.

Hopefully be meeting up with Phil on Sunday on the Wesson Cafe run, provided the rain stays away.

  8. had similar, sitting in slow moving traffic on a small piece of dual carriage way, a small white citreon van decided he was going to cut infront of me. not only that but, after he made the manuover he realised he was going to fast so braked sharply.

Kinda guessed this would happen, so gave some room.

People are just too inconsiderate and dangerous...... need more coppers on the streets.
