  1. Regarding Waggon and Horses, can we get away with Wagon also? *Edit, I've found a suitable Waggon now, not to worry. Time to find some camp sites
  2. Dead mans shoes This is England Plunket & macleane Rambo first blood Kevin and Perry go large Warriors Green mile Joe dirt 8 mile Blitz Shaun of the dead/hot fuzz/paul/ worlds end Inbetweeners 1/2 Essex boys Prob loads more
  3. Blimey, I do more miles than that in a day some times. Perhaps I should reassess my oiling intervals
  4. Get a circuit tester to see if it's feeding the plug
  5. I had that on my old trx850, I sold the bike and now ride a more upright machine. I've not had the issue since. Have you got the lever in a comfy position so that you aren't twisting your wrist? Maybe just a small tweak could be the answer by spinning it round the bars everyone slightly http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12/28/aa67a8e506e8e0ee529e981ec0309931.jpg Bit of googling or YouTube may help you
  6. I had this on a ccm when I swapped stands over. I eventually shorted the circuit to make it think the stand was up

  8. Used mine Sunday for my blast to Wales, worked really well especially in places with no signal. The directions it gave me after llanthony priory were a little exciting as it sent me up a dirt track! Mud, deep ruts, leaves , debris all added to the fun! https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.89522 ... 6656?hl=en I wouldn't advise it on a road bike until the drier months
  9. Had to complete the pubs as I was so close. I had to ride from Kent to Bristol to nab the Lime Kiln, as I was near I grabbed 4 in wales also. My co pilot decided to send me up a farm track which was fun but also quite scary as there was nobody around for miles. My bike now needs another clean http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b58/pcritcher/challenge100/DSC00026_zps9grxd8y9.jpg Bloody long day in the saddle but good fun Still a few days left but I have an operation tomorrow so I doubt I'll be in a fit state to ride again
  10. Lime Kiln = all 10 pubs http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b58/pcritcher/challenge100/DSC00007_zps6hkkwomy.jpg Doms Bike stop http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b58/pcritcher/challenge100/DSC00030_zpsqumbzsy1.jpg Queenswood Cafe http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b58/pcritcher/challenge100/DSC00027_zpsla2lc9z7.jpg Very wet Bishops meadow Cafe http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b58/pcritcher/challenge100/DSC00013_zpsbordqpem.jpg Llanthony Priory http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b58/pcritcher/challenge100/DSC00015_zpskxo0lh7q.jpg 10 hours for four places! 13. Just added another one to mine and discovered that i hadn't updated my scores for a while. i think its correct now also discovered that a lot of my pics had gone, I have re posted them again.
  14. I have also enjoyed the challenge this year, it's great to have a destination to aim for rather than just a general ride out. My thanks to the organisers for their time and effort in arranging this. Looking forward to getting out and about again next year.
  15. I'm wanting to copy the audio from a few concert DVDs onto my iPod. I had done this once before but I've forgotten the programme used to do it Anyone got any recommendations for what to use please
  16. Are you taking a back up vehicle??
  17. Liking that! Wheels look very spindly, are they standard?
  18. Wax oil! Why didn't I think of that, especially as I drive a Land Rover !
  19. I've done the wd 40 flush out, I'll grease everything up next weekend when I'm back out in the shed. The electrolysis theory is also very valid as the Ali/ steel has no insulation. Now I have a centre stand fitted I'm hoping that this shouldn't be so bad in the future as the hole won't be quite so easy for rainwater to get in. I will certainly be keeping an eye on it from no on though
  20. I planned to adjust my chain today. As I went about undoing the adjusters I noticed some water dripping from the swing arm http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12/06/07fc5ed460f05ed35d08c04d9754d5f9.jpg As the nuts became looser so the flow increased http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12/06/ceaf681072496fecbddb84df72c3d67f.jpg When it was all apart I saw that the adjuster had become furry with what I can imagine is road salt and all the other crap that's got in there http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12/06/9f56c44b74e79f64d14e8f8f13b74812.jpg http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12/06/211b1cd19e4115b47cf25fd33f68608f.jpg Is there anyway of keeping the water out or is it best to keep an eye on it? I've cleaned it all up, regressed bits and next weekend I'll refit the rest as the caps we so rusty I had to wire brush and repaint them. The left side was not as bad as the right, I can only guess because that's the way it leans on the stand Opinions welcomed
  21. When can we reserve next years numbers in case there's a fine day on Jan 1st?
  22. Why do you "have" to go on the motorway? Leave earlier, take the a roads and enjoy the ride rather than be pressured on the motorway, or as Stu says get a bigger bike[emoji6]
  23. Mod 2 is just a ride out, you've done all the awkward bits, relax and you'll be fine
