  1. Sorry joeman that wasn't meant to sound like I was being an arse .. I've just read it back.. I was only joking.. (a lot of people think us ere doncaster folk be a bit stoopid like )
  2. Yeah I know .. I may be from doncaster but I can read I want some ear plugs.. but I thought this morning as I don't have any I would listen to music to block out wind noise.. which worked but I didn't like it.. I was just asking about using ear PHONES..
  3. Thought I'd try sticking my earphones in this morning for a change. . Firstly not sure if I'm a fan.. It's uncomfortable. . I couldn't hear the bike (I know you all said it doesn't matter, I shouldn't need to, but my bikes old and not running that we'll so like to know if it's doing anything unusual) And second is it actually safe/legal to have earphones on?? I did enjoy listening to music though rather than wind but not sure I'll do it again..
  4. Cool I'll have to get some I think .. I'm deaf enough without making it worse
  5. That's good to know after taking old one back and swapping I didn't want to think it was a fault or something .. I can live with it.. I might get some earplugs or stick my earphones in and listen to some music or something and stop worrying about how my engine sounds..
  6. Not sure about the new helmet It seems louder? ? If that's possible...I like to try and listen to the bike to make sure it sounds ok and isn't making no weird sounds it shouldn't be and all I can hear now is the wind.. really loudly .. I could still hear wind before but it didn't seem as loud. Is this possible or us it just me going mad?
  7. Just been to J&S.. and changed it, fancied a change so changed it for a flip up front with dual visor so kinda got some shades in the deal too
  8. Yep.. I'm sure most men would rather nod at a biker girl all the leathers etc than a big fat sweaty hairy 16 stone man any time Not that I am a big fat sweaty 16 stone man
  9. I went to see the Bermuda Philharmonic Orchestra and halfway through the triangle player disappeared. .
  10. I've joined a reggae band playing the triangle, I just stand at the back and ting.

  15. I'm in leeds at the mo.. but bought it from donny so I guess I'd have to take it back there .. but I reckon someone like J&S would be ok.. they're a big company after all..

  19. Yeah that's what I thought too.. I can't understand how it's got scratched .. I look after it... and as I say, I've never dropped it..
  20. Bottom trim hanging off... http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/04/07/f79f411b370a143d15f2897d3f5a2425.jpg Screw fallen out near visor... http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/04/07/ca927eca22b3bb721e118347b4d07f29.jpg It's scratched to hell and the foam inside looks like it's about to fall out..
  21. That sounds a bit painful.. but it's ok it's not me little old fella I bought a new helmet in December just gone.. had it a few months.. never dropped it, not fallen off or anything and it buggered I've only had it 2 minutes.. and it's wasn't a really cheap one.. I'm pretty sure if I took it back to shop they would tell me to feck off and that it looks I've been using it as a football.. Is there usually any kind if Warrenty or something with a new helmet ?? Surely they are guaranteed for more than 4 months of non accident normal everyday use before they fall to bits??
  22. I'm totally with you here psychybikey, but I can't wait to have a go on a bigger bike after what all these guys tell me I would be totally bricking it though
  23. cool cheers.. I was thinking of just replacing plates, barring and springs to start with see if that makes a difference.. would I need to remove oil pump for that??
  24. ok after lots of reading, looks like I need an impact wrench.. shit.. can't do that then..
