  1. This was my first trackday on my Yamaha r1 07 , after this trackday i got it on the dyno and it was running only 140bhp ish :? the bloke who sold it to me done me over the tosser , spent a lot of money to get it to where it should be , i got 175bhp out of her in the end after i had it sorted which took 4 bike shops and a long trip to Track Electronics in Norwich who were the only people/shop who could sort the bike out , every other shop where stumped so big thumbs up to them boys :thumb: found out the bike previously had a fire due the the state of the electrics so that ended up being turned in to a race loom so after some ££££££££ the bike was sorted , so i think the lap times i was doing at snet are ok considering it was well f**ked

  2. Spoke to them and the thing is them bolts are done at the factory , so im going to tighten them and keep a eye on them but im wondering if i should check anything else ??

  3. I went out for a spin Sunday just gone and i went over 4 cattle grids then shortley after it seemed to of worked all 4 of my pinch bolts on the front forks loose , they have been tightened with alan keys , is there anything else i should be checking?? bike has only done 300 miles from new  :( Kawasaki ZX10R

  4. it don't matter first time or not ! it depends how the person looks at things to how he approaches the day itself , I had tyre warmers on my very first trackday , its good practice, its not exactly a disadvantage is it lol it could be cold for a start, aint always warm so I disagree, and 3 laps warming the tyres up when they could be just warm lol

  5. SO....MUCH........WANT!!!!!!!!! OMFG that is *gorgeous*!

Got me all green eyed!!!! I'd probably open up the throttle and die immediately  - either from the thrill or being a total bellend on such a powerful bike!

Thanks :thumb: the power is mental , if I turn anti wheelie off its completely mental lol

  6. Nice! Don't like the front sprocket cover look???

Moto gp style, easy to clean, but i prefer to hide my dirt and grime

don't intend to get any grime on it mate, only going out in the sun :thumb: and I have a nice little trick to get in to the hard to get places

  7. Looks like a very fast aggressive bike, plenty of stopping power on the front at that.

That front sprocket being exposed has me questioning how easy it would be get damaged or open to the elements [/quote

The front sprocket wont get damaged at all bud , its only going out in the sun and every time I go out I clean it even when its just road dust lol
